Description
Our Optimum® Ceramic MicroDot™ tips feature a 37 ga ceramic cannula that is compatible with fine particle-filled materials and can produce precise micro-deposits as small as 100 μm. These tips are ideal for dispensing assembly fluids in the life science and electronics industries.
Our Optimum fine-gauge, passivated stainless steel dispensing tips include 27 ga, 30 ga, 32 ga, and 33 ga sizes.
For micro-deposits consider using a dispense valve such as the xQR41 Series MicroDot needle valve with a 60% smaller form factor for ease of dispensing into tight spaces or at complex angles, or for mounting close together for higher throughput.
Our MicroDot tips feature a unique SafetyLok™ hub thread that provides safe, secure attachment to the syringe barrel. Each hub is designed with flush mating of the hub to the cutoff for smooth fluid flow and to prevent trapped air, which causes dripping and drooling.
Each hub is also manufactured and quality-tested to be free of molding flash – bits of plastic that can block fluid flow and cause inconsistent deposits. Burr-free, polished passivated stainless steel cannulas ensure consistent, repeatable fluid deposits.
All Optimum dispensing tips are manufactured in the USA in silicone-free facilities to prevent fluid contamination and are certified for industrial use.
EFD also offers specialized precision nozzles with orifice sizes from 100 to 500 μm for tight tolerance micro-dispensing in high throughput applications.
